IR motion detector for corners at night
This motion detector is specially designed for outdoor corners on buildings or outdoor walls. It is equipped with a specially shaped mounting base for mounting on external corners and has a detection angle of 240°.
The infrared sensor of this motion detector detects movements of persons, large animals and vehicles within a detection range of up to 10m at a detection angle of 240° (on free surface) and switches on the connected lighting. After a preset time of approx. 10 seconds to 15 minutes, the motion detector switches off again when no more movements are detected. A controller can be used to adjust the switch-on sensitivity of this device in relation to the ambient brightness (in the range between 3 and 2,000 LUX). The maximum detection range can be shortened by a modifiable cover.
The motion detector has a twilight function for use in darkness:
- Dawn: If the ambient brightness is >50LUX, the motion detector is deactivated.
- Twilight: When the ambient brightness is <15LUX, the motion detector is activated.
