The E27 fitting is sometimes also referred to as "the people's fitting" by experts - this type of fitting was invented by Thomas Edison many years ago and is highly popular to this day. These light bulbs are present in most households, but should be replaced with modern LED lights which may save up to 90 percent electricity.
The exchange is very easy - the old light bulbs can just be replaced directly with the new LED lamps and offer full brightness from the first second. This means that bothersome maintenance and warm-up periods become a thing of the past.
The E27 light bulbs offer warm white light similar to that of ordinary halogen or incandescent bulbs. The very high lifespan is also a positive aspect - around 25,000 hours are a pleasure to the end user.
